DII selected for SBIR Phase II contract with the Air Force Research Laboratory
The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) selected DII for a two-year SBIR Phase II contract. The Phase II contract is a follow-on to the Phase I contract for energy harvesting awarded in 2007.

DII President/Founder Selected for 2008 Journal Record Innovator of the Year award
DII President and Founder James L. Grimsley was selected by the Oklahoma Journal Record as an Innovator of the Year for 2008. Mr. Grimsley was also selected for an Innovator of the Year award in 2006. The 2008 award presentations are scheduled for March 13, 2008 in Oklahoma City.

The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) awarded a small business innovation research (SBIR) contract to DII for research involving energy harvesting for small air vehicles.
